The Kershaw Outfield 1428 is a lightweight assisted-opening folding knife designed for everyday carry and general utility tasks. Part of the Kershaw Starter Series, it combines practical materials, comfortable handling and convenient pocket carry at an accessible price.

Its 2.8-inch drop-point blade is made from 4Cr14 stainless steel, offering good corrosion resistance, strength and straightforward sharpening. The versatile drop-point profile provides a useful cutting edge for opening packages, breaking down cardboard, cutting tape and completing other everyday tasks.

The stonewashed blade finish gives the knife a practical, understated appearance while helping reduce the visibility of fingerprints and minor scratches caused by regular use.

Kershaw’s assisted-opening mechanism allows the blade to deploy quickly using the integrated flipper. Once opened, the liner lock helps hold the blade securely in position during use.
