The Boker Plus Kihon DC Alu is a full-size everyday carry folding knife designed by American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Kihon—the fundamentals and essential techniques of martial arts—this practical folder focuses on dependable materials, balanced handling and straightforward functionality.
Its 3.22-inch drop-point blade is made from Nitro-V stainless steel, valued for its strong corrosion resistance, toughness and reliable edge performance. The satin-finished blade runs on a ball-bearing pivot, allowing smooth manual deployment through the removable thumb stud.
A secure Crossbar Lock provides intuitive operation and confident blade lock-up. Its ambidextrous design makes the knife convenient for both left- and right-handed users.
The high-strength grey aluminium handle features the Kihon series’ distinctive recessed-square texture, providing a secure grip and a balanced feel in hand. Blue anodised accents around the pivot, handle hardware and thumb stud add subtle contrast without compromising the knife’s clean, functional appearance.
A reversible tip-up wire pocket clip supports flexible carry, while the integrated lanyard hole provides an additional attachment option.
